RJ Concrete & Construction Ltd was retained to construct 2 4-plex buildings and associated site improvements to accommodate 8 new apartments for the TBDSSAB and the Matawa Non-Profit Housing Corporation. The scope of work included all site servicing, site work, utilities connections (electricity, gas, water, and storm connections, including extending city infrastructure to accommodate the new connections), structural framing, interior framing and drywall, electrical, mechanical, interior finishing, and exterior finishing. Fire separations, controls, smoke, and CO2 detectors were all among the similarities. Site work included site grading, retaining walls, concrete driveways/walkways, drywells, culverts, and swales. RJ Concrete & Construction Ltd was also responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractors, scheduling, procurement, document preparation, permit application, and project execution.
